Tale of Mu-dong(film)

synopsis: 

Mudong had a strange dream last night, and ever since, nothing around him feels solid anymore. He starts questioning everything, and decides it’s finally time to live on his own terms. His first mission? Sneak into his CEO’s house and take back the 10 million won in unpaid wages he’s been waiting on for five long months. From that moment on, Mudong makes choice after choice, move after move, trying to pull off his plan — but things never go the way he expects.
The plan keeps shifting, almost as if someone is editing his reality in real time, like he’s still dreaming. And the more he pushes forward, the harder it becomes to tell what’s real and what’s not.

Still, even in this blur of confusion, Mudong and his friends keep sailing deeper into their dreams, searching for… something — whatever it is they believe might be waiting for them on the other side.

무동은 어젯밤 이상한 꿈을 꾸고 난 뒤부터, 주변의 모든 것이 낯설게 느껴지기 시작한다.
뭐가 진짜인지 계속 의심하게 된 그는, 이제라도 자기 인생을 스스로 살아보기로 마음먹는다.
그리고 가장 먼저 세운 계획은… 지난 다섯 달 동안 받지 못한 월급 1,000만 원을 찾기 위해 대표의 집에 몰래 들어가는 것.

하지만 그때부터 무동의 선택과 행동은 예상과 전혀 다른 방향으로 흘러가기 시작한다.
계획은 계속 어그러지고, 마치 누군가가 그의 현실을 편집하고 있는 것처럼 꿈과 현실의 경계가 흐려진다.
무동은 지금 자기가 어디에 서 있는지도 알기 어려울 만큼 혼란스러운 흐름 속에 빠져든다.

그럼에도 불구하고, 무동과 그의 친구들은 ‘무언가’를 찾을 수 있다는 희미한 희망 하나만을 붙잡고, 끝내 자신들만의 꿈 항해를 이어간다.
